What can I do with this music shield?
With this MP3 compatible music maker shield, easily attach to your Arduino UNO footprint boards and start playing and recording audio almost immediately. Listen to your audio through headphones or even directly attach 4 or 8 ohm speakers, supporting up to 14V to provide up to 22W output. You can even use a bone conductor as an output.

What formats does it support?
For playing back audio/decoding, this shield supports, Ogg Vorbis, MP3/MP2/MP1, MP4, AAC, WMA, FLAC, WAV/PCM and MIDI. For recording/encoding this shield supports Ogg and WAV/PCM. All audio files can be stored via a Micro SD card using the on-board socket.

Will I need a specific library?
To make the most out of this music maker shield you will require the VS1053 library developed by Adafruit.
